He Manchester United The legend teamed up with Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess behind the decks at the Cumbria festival, and even brought out his old football skills.

As they played The Courteeners' “Not Nineteen Forever,” a beach ball rolled onto the stage and the Salford co-owner picked it up and threw it into the raucous crowd.

Neville seemed to be enjoying life as he roamed the decks, doing a little daddy dance on stage.

He made 602 appearances for the Red Devils and never played for anyone else and after retiring in 2011 he became a multi-millionaire, turned property tycoon and is a prominent presenter on Sky Sports.

And now, at 49 years old, he has ventured into the business world in The dragons' lair recentlyHe has proven that he is a very talented man, despite never having been a DJ in his life.

In fact, he was terrified at the prospect and had revealed that he had tried to escape from it, but that he could not refuse a challenge.

Speaking to his former Sky Sports colleague Geoff Shreeves on his Football, Music and Me podcast, the eight-time Premier League champion said: “When I finished my football career, I did a lot of things to get out of my comfort zone.

“I'm actually DJing with Tim at Kendal Calling, I mean… what the hell am I doing?

“I'm trying to get out of this, but I can't once I've said yes to something.”

When Shreeves asked him if he had done anything like this before, Neville replied: “Never in my life!”

“The last time we shared the stage was when he joined The Charlatans on guitar.
