Manchester United have held talks with Joshua Zirkzee's side as they contemplate a summer move for the Bologna striker, talkSPORT understands.
Dutch striker Zirkzee is believed to be open to a move to the Premier League as a possible move to AC Milan stables.
It is understood that the Red Devils They are looking for competition Rasmus Hojlund entering the new campaign.
Zirkzee has also been promoted as a potential option for Arsenal while they also look for attack reinforcements.
A deal could cost the relatively modest sum of £34 million, due to a release clause in the 23-year-old's deal with Bologna.
The attention on his services comes after Zirkzee scored 11 goals in 34 Serie A games last season.
His contributions helped Bologna finish fifth in the league, allowing them to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Zirkzee is currently with the Netherlands at Euro 2024 after receive a late call to Ronald Koeman's squad.
