Manchester United take on Liverpool to sign Karim Adeyemi
Manchester United They are reported to be in a battle with Liverpool over a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi, according to Spanish outlet Signings.
Following the departure of Jadon Sancho this summer, the Red Devils currently have Marcus RashfordAlejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo and Antony as the options to deploy on the flanks.
However, after joining the club from Ajax Amsterdam in a very expensive transfer a couple of years ago, Antony has not been able to prove his qualities at the Premier League.
He was linked with a possible exit from the club this summer but ultimately decided to stay at Old Trafford. However, the Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order and if he fails to get his form back on track this season, Manchester United could look to cash in on him next year.
Signings reports that Erik the HagAdeyemi's team have begun to show a “strong interest” in him and are “determined” to secure his signing in 2025. The player is willing to take the next step in his career and fight for big prizes in the future, so he would be willing to move to the Premier League.

However, the report claims that Liverpool are also planning to land the German and are willing to offer stiff competition to the record Premier League champions for this deal.
Adeyemi, valued at around £24m by Transfer marketHe still has three years left on his current contract, so Dortmund are in a strong position to demand a considerable amount of money to sell their star asset next year.
Juventus were heavily linked with a possible move for him this summer but failed to secure a deal before the deadline.
With Mohamed Salah's future remains in the balance, with the Reds appearing to be looking at options to replace him should he not stay at the club. He has entered the final nine months of his current contract, but is yet to commit his future to the Merseyside club.
Adeyemi is a versatile striker, as he can play in any position along the attacking line. He is quick, can dribble past opposing defenders in tight areas, has the ability to finish his chances and also works hard out of possession.
The 22-year-old is a very talented player and has the potential to develop into a top striker in the future, so he would certainly strengthen Liverpool or Man Utd's attack if either club were to buy him in 2025.
