Manchester United will win the league before Liverpool, predicts Wesley Sneijder
Manchester United will win the Premier League before Liverpool.
That is the verdict of the Dutch legend Wesley Sneijderwho likes it Erik the Hag triumph over Arne's Slot.
Liverpool Brought in Slot from Feyenoord This summer to replace Jurgen Kloppwho left at the end of last season after having won all the major trophies.
It remains to be seen whether the 45-year-old can repeat the German's success at Anfield, while Ten Hag has been rewarded with a new contract in United.
And that will mean the two Dutch coaches will battle it out next season, with Sneijder banking on Ten Hag's victory.
“They are both good coaches. Slot did an incredible job with Feyenoord and United have a lot of confidence in Ten Hag.

“I think they can do a great job because they have incredible players at United. There has to be a team, they need time.”

Asked who will win the Premier League first between Liverpool and United, Sneijder replied: “Manchester United.

“Because they have time to build something, the coach will stay and they have enough confidence in the coach to build something.
“So I think they will be stronger this season than last.”
Slot led Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title in 2023 before finishing second last season behind PSV Eindhoven, although they did win the KNVB Cup.
Ten Hag, meanwhile, has won two trophies with United in two seasons in charge – the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup earlier this year.
There were reports that the Red Devils coach I could have been fired after the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
