Marseille are exploring a deal to sign Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, talkSPORT understands.

The French giants are in contact with Old Trafford bosses, although discussions are at an early stage.

The 22-year-old is believed to prefer a move to the Ligue 1 club over other options at the moment.

It comes after the club decided their academy graduate would continue his career outside the club after the Crown Prosecution Service dropped charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control against him.

Greenwood denied all allegations made against him following his initial arrest at his home in January 2022.
