Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi appeared to be tempted by the chance to leave his boyhood club this summer after three years of being courted by Europe's elite, but it seems he is now staying at La Real .

That seemed to be enough, despite a new contract offer on the table from La Real to make him their highest paid player. Relief they revealed that Zubimendi decided to turn down Liverpool though.
