Arsenal women are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper.
He gunners announced that duo Sabrina D'Angelo and Kaylan Marckese would be leaving the club upon expiry of their contracts at the end of the season, along with club legend Vivianne Miedema.
This leaves Arsenal with only regular starter Manuela Zinsberger and teenager Naomi Williams in their goalkeeping squad.
With Arsenal set to compete in the Champions League again next season, they will feel it necessary to strengthen their ranks by signing a new goalkeeper.
But who could be on the Gunners' list of potential targets? talkSPORT.com take a look.
Mary Earps (Manchester United)
Arsenal's attempt to sign Lionesses number one Ears He was famously rejected by Manchester United last summer.
But Earps' future with the Red Devils remains unconfirmed, despite his FA Cup victory.
When asked if the goalkeeper would stay at the club next season, manager Marc Skinner was unable to clarify the matter.
“That is a decision that will be made later, it is not a conversation for now,” he said. he told the BBC. “I'm sure (the win) helps, but Mary and I have a great relationship. Of course I would love for her to stay. “She is an FA Cup winner.”
Earps have made no secret of their lofty ambitions and have stated that they would like to play in the Champions League and compete for trophies as regularly as possible.
Whether Arsenal are a club that could meet those goals is a matter of debate, but they certainly won't be playing in the Champions League next season if they stay at Man United.
Earps would certainly seem a sensible option for Arsenal between the sticks, but surprisingly, as the Telegraph reported In March, Arsenal no longer appear to have their eyes on Earps as their top target.
Instead, his gaze has turned elsewhere.
Daphne van Domselaar (Aston Villa)
It is Aston Villa's relatively new goalkeeper, van Domselaar, who has now become the Gunners' favourite.
The Dutch goalkeeper signed for Villa at the start of the 2023/24 season on a three-year deal, but the club has not reached the heights that many thought it would reach this season.
Van Domselaar shone for Villa in the League Cup quarter-final penalty shootout victory over Brighton, as he saved three penalties to secure his team's place in the semi-finals.
But for someone who is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers on the international stage, Villa's lackluster season might seem incongruent with his career.
She was also the Netherlands' number one at the 2023 Women's World Cup, where she narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals.
Van Domselaar is understood to have a release clause of around £200,000 in his contract, and Arsenal appear to have made the 24-year-old one of their priorities for the summer.
Kayla Rendell (Southampton)
Southampton goalkeeper Kayla Rendell caused a stir this season when she received her first call-up to the Lionesses squad in April 2024.
The youngster is on standby for the upcoming European Championship qualifying matches against France, but the call-up is a great show of respect on the part of England coach Sarina Wiegman.
Rendell's club have performed well in the Women's Championship this season, finishing fourth in the table.
At only 22 years old, his signing would represent a great investment in the future for any club.
Her contract currently keeps her at the Championship club until 2025, but the appeal of playing in the WSL would certainly be strong if Arsenal expressed interest.
Michael Teagan (Liverpool)
A less orthodox option, but Arsenal have certainly been in favor of an Australian signing or two (or three) in recent years.
So Liverpool's Teagan Micah could well look like a really attractive prospect.
After signing defender Steph Catley and winger Caitlin Foord in 2020 and midfielder Kyra Cooney-Cross in 2023, the trio have become fan favorites as well as being key to the team's success.
Most recently, all three came on as late substitutes in Arsenal's Tires Continental League Cup final victory over Chelsea, with the winning goal being scored shortly afterwards, a testament to the quality they bring to the team .
Micah is considered to be Liverpool's second-choice goalkeeper behind the experienced Rachael Laws.
But Micah has had his moments in the spotlight this season: he replaced the injured Laws in Liverpool's impressive game. 4-3 victory over title-chasing Chelsea in the WSL in May, and some of his last-gasp saves ultimately earned his team victory.
His potential is clear and if Arsenal are willing to invest, he could be a good addition to the club, although he will convince the very astute. matte beard letting her go could be difficult.
Without a doubt, the Liverpool manager has shown this season that his club could be the most attractive option for young players.
