Aston Villa welcome West Ham United to Villa Park this afternoon for their final fixture of the calendar year.
The side will be look to make it two wins in five days and wrap up up 2024 in style.
The Villans were last in action on Wednesday evening as they came from behind to defeat Charlton Athletic 4-1 in the League Cup.
Rachel Daly and Ebony Salmon both scored in either half to seal the victory underneath the Bescot Stadium lights.
However, Villa suffered defeat in their most recent outing in the league as they fell to 4-0 loss away to Arsenal last weekend.
West Ham come into today’s fixture on the back of back-to-back three consecutive victories.
Their most recent one came early this week as they advanced to the knockout stages of the League Cup with a 3-0 win over Southampton.
Goals from Shelina Zadorsky, Dagný Brynjarsdóttir as well as an own goal sealed the win for Hammers.
The East London side also picked up three points in their last league fixture as they came from 2-0 down to defeat Crystal Palace 5-2 on home soil.
Viviane Asseyi, Seraina Piubel, Manuela Paví, Anouk Denton and Katrina Gorry were all on target to help secure the impressive comeback.
