John McGinn, Emi Martínez and Ollie Watkins returned to Aston Villa’s starting XI for their Premier League encounter against Brentford.
Captain McGinn missed the last three matches due to suspension while goalkeeper Martínez was absent for Wednesday’s defeat at Manchester City due to illness.
Top scorer Watkins was forced off at half-time in last weekend’s 2-0 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
But head coach Unai Emery was able to restore the trio to his starting line-up against the Bees, as part of six changes from midweek at the Etihad Stadium.
Pau Torres, Youri Tielemans and Leon Bailey were also recalled as Villa looked to return to winning ways.
