Mesut Ozil continues incredible post-career body transformation as every Arsenal fan says the same thing
Mesut Ozil looks incredible as he continues to bulk up after the end of his football career.
The German spent the best years of his time as a player with both real Madrid and Arsenalwhom he represented between 2013 and 2021.
Since hanging up his boots in 2023, Ozil has undergone quite a remarkable body transformation, going from the small, lean frame of a technically gifted playmaker to the bulkier physique of a true gym-goer.
Of course, Ozil was in incredible shape as a footballer, but he has since packed on a lot of muscle mass.
Videos published by your personal trainer. Alper Aksac on Instagram showed just how impressive Ozil's physique is, and the former Germany international is now going even further.
On his Instagram channel, Ozil wrote: “Always stay ready, then you won't need to be ready,” with a black and white video of him showing off his arm strength in the gym.
But after it was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, every Arsenal fan was saying the same thing.
One fan wrote: “The man finally decided to work out when he retired…why he never bulked up for us, the man seemed so lazy like he played for us at the end.”
A second follower wrote: “I should have done this a long time ago.”
“Watching Ozil gain ground in retirement when Arsenal needed that muscle while he was in his prime,” wrote a third, while another added: “Bro didn't do all this when he played ffs.”

Meanwhile, a fifth fan wrote: “Imagine this physique and talent back in the day. GOAT material.”
Ozil played 254 games during his time at Arsenal, scoring 44 goals and providing 79 assists.
He donned a six-pack during his playing days, but gained a reputation that his lack of physique was his main weakness.
While his talents weren't necessarily offered to the physical side of the Premier League, he would love to see how Ozil fared today if he could combine his natural ability with his newfound bulky physique.
Fortunately, they won't have to wait long as the winner of the World Cup will participate in A star-studded World Cup for those over 35 with Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry.
