Mohammed Kudus' final celebration was apparently derailed by an unsuspecting ball boy.
The West Ham attacker was at his best against Newcastle and put his team up 1-0 just before half-time.
Shooting from a Jarrod Bowen assistance, the former Ajax player shot through the center, but he did it so well that Martin Dubravka I didn't have time to react.
Running behind the goal to celebrate, Kudus was seen pointing at a young ball boy sitting on a stool at the side of the pitch.
Against Freiburg in the Europa League, Kudus celebrated on a stool, but this time the Newcastle ball boy did not want to give up his seat.
Instead, the Ghanaian had to jump over the fence with his companions, while the boy looked on completely bewildered.
Kudus had already done the hoarding celebration several times, and even joked that he was upset when the Manchester United trio Rasmus HojlundAlejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo appeared to 'copy' it.
Speaking before the match, he said: “I wanted to do something out of the ordinary because most celebrations are pretty normal, slides and stuff.
“I wanted to give more meaning to my scoring. It's about sitting down, resting after scoring a goal, but there's literally no deeper meaning than that.
“Even when I did it (for the first time), there was talk that people were doing it before, although I didn't see anyone doing it that way. But, yes, (other players) can do it, but soon they will have to start paying taxes!
“I just see it as something that makes people happy and is worth the ticket they bought. Football is about the three points and the emotions at stake, but it's also entertainment and there's more to it. Yes. I'm still having fun on the playground.”
Mixing things against FreiburgKudus sat on a pitch-side stool as the Hammers destroyed their Bundesliga competition 5-0.
Kudus completed the rout with the fourth and fifth goals of the game before making the iconic image, but he was not so lucky against Newcastle.
