Morgan Gibbs-White screams in Anthony Taylor's face as he is shown THREE red cards in a moment of madness during the Brighton v Nottingham Forest match
Morgan Gibbs-White, Fabian Hurzeler and Nuno Espirito Santo were all sent off as tempers flared during the Brighton vs Nottingham Forest match.
With the score at 2-2 at the end of the second half, Gibbs-White received a second yellow card for a reckless foul on João Pedro.
Referee Rob Jones initially appeared to indicate that the Forest man had picked up the ball, drawing the shape of a football with his hands.
However, he later changed his mind and showed the midfielder a second yellow card.
Gibbs-White was seen shouting in the face of fourth official Anthony Taylor, pointing his finger at him.
However, talisman Tricky Trees' complaints were in vain.
The referee also sent off Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler and his Forest counterpart.
Officials explained that this was due to “unacceptable behaviour in the technical area following the incident”.
Nuno was seen furious with the referee, and he was also seen furious with Taylor.
Hurzeler's initial reaction to the incident was not shown, but cameras captured his face when he was also shown the red card.
The German's mouth dropped open in surprise and he shrugged in disbelief.
Gibbs-White had initially been booked on the hour mark after being adjudged to have brought down Georginio Rutter.
On Sunday he received the second red card of his career, the first being with Sheffield United, when he also received two cautions.
