The new and improved Villa Store will open its doors to supporters next week.
In collaboration with adidas, the Villa Park store has been completely reimagined ahead of the 2024/25 season, creating a fantastic shopping experience for Villans of all ages, and will open at 9am on Friday, August 16.
Among the new features is a stunning statue to help celebrate Aston Villa’s 150th anniversary. The club have had a lion crafted from brick and engraved with the names of every player to captain the club, with the statue set to be permanently on display in the new Villa Store.
Supporters will also love the new heritage area, which boasts a floor mural created by hand to represent the stained glass windows synonymous with Villa Park.
A giant LED screen and an archive wall capturing some of the club’s greatest moments along with treasured memorabilia from those historic times will also feature in the area as fans are immersed in Villa’s achievements.
A trip down memory lane is provided by the new retro area, with a new archive floor feature displaying match-worn shirts from some of Villa’s greatest players, alongside replica versions that fans can purchase on their visit.
Following on from the completion of phase 1 and the store’s opening, phase 2 of the plans for the Villa Store will see it become one of the biggest and most impressive club merchandise stores in Europe, with work due to complete later in the year.
The club looks forward to welcoming supporters into the new store on Friday, August 16!
