There are some precious commodities you could trade your shirt for if you played against Aston Villa – how about the kit of World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emi Martinez, for instance?
Well, Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes had a more indulgent idea after his team beat Villa 3-1 on Tuesday night, as he decided to swap his shirts with a fan for nothing other than Kinder Buenos.
The midfielder approached the supporter to broker the swap deal before smuggling his prizes down the tunnel, which saw him stride in to the dressing room two Kinder Bueno packets richer than his team-mates.
Walking inside, Guimaraes looked down the camera and shouted ‘yesss!’, clearly jubilant with his newly acquired treats.
‘Bruno Guimarães swapping his shirt for a packet of Kinder Buenos is the best deal of the transfer window so far,’ wrote one user on x, formerly Twitter.

‘Probably the only deal we’re going to do!’ noted one fan.
‘New official “chocolate partner” incoming,’ joked another.
‘Bruno’s happier with the kinder bars than he is with the win. I love this guy,’ gushed another.
‘Absolutely love this haha,’ said one.
The midfielder has previously admitted to having a special affinity for chocolate.
On an episode of We Are Newcastle United on Amazon Prime, the 26-year-old revealed he was on a diet and opened up on his sweet tooth.
He said: ‘I don’t like to drink but I have a problem with sweet things.
‘Chocolate is my weakness point.’
His wife, Ana, revealed that Kinder Eggs are a favourite of his.
‘Oh my God,’ he purred. ‘It’s better to stop speaking about chocolate!’
He might be in line for a few more Kinder luxuries provided Newcastle can keep up the form that saw them triumph over Villa.
Fabian Schar scored two first-half goals coming from corners and Newcastle went 3-0 up in the second half after an Alex Moreno own goal.
Ollie Watkins got one back for the hosts after 71 minutes but it wasn’t enough to stop Newcastle inflicting a first home defeat on them in almost a year.
Guimaraes ranked well in Mail Sport’s player ratings as he took home an 8 after controlling the midfield in the second half.
Schar, however, took home Mail Sport’s coveted Man of the Match gong, scoring 8.5 after grabbing two critical goals with predatory instinct in the box.
It was Newcastle’s first win in five league games after a dire run that has seen them slide away from realistic Champions Leauge contention.

European football is still in the grasp of Eddie Howe’s men, who sit seventh in the Premier League, and he will be hoping they can kick on after an impressive win over Villa.
While it looks as if they have scraped through the January transfer window, Guimaraes could be a casualty if Newcastle need to sell a star in the summer.
Mail Sport has reported that Newcastle are looking for offers in the region of £100million, his release clause.
They would consider selling him to Barcelona or Real Madrid for below his release clause, but the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain would have to meet it.
