It was a great victory for Eddie Howe's men, who can close the gap to sixth place tonight with another win against Everton.
The Toffees have not won in the league since December and are embroiled in a tense relegation battle.

If they beat Everton, they could leapfrog the Irons. who plays tottenham and close the gap with the Red Devils, who face Chelsea on Thursday.
However, the middle of the table is very tight and if Newcastle fail to win they are just five points behind Bournemouth in 13th place, so every game is hugely important for the Toon if they are to qualify for Europe again.
