The 32-year-old joined the Magpies from Bournemouth in 2020 and scored 48 goals in 108 games for them.

They paid around £20million for him and this could be the last chance to get some money back for the striker.

Wilson may find first-team opportunities limited next season, should Eddie Howe put them on his transfer wish list.

talkSPORT reported in May that Newcastle had rekindled their long-term Interest in Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin is in the final year of his Everton contract and Newcastle believe he could be available for a nominal fee.

It is expected to be a busy summer for Howe, as also after Wolves defender Max Kilman.

They have already rejected an offer from Elliot Anderson, plus cash, for the centre-back.
