According to Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Füllkrug will undergo his medical at West Ham later today.
It had previously been reported that the Hammers had submitted their opening offer to BvB in an attempt to lure the German international to the Premier League. However, their €25 million offer, including add-ons, was rejected by the Champions League runners-up.
Nevertheless, the two clubs have now agreed on a €30 million fee that will be paid in full for the 31-year-old. All details regarding the deal have been finalised, and Füllkrug is set to leave the Westfalensatdion.
It is understood that the former Werder Bremen striker will undergo his medical later today, with the deal set to be announced this weekend.
Füllkrug will sign a three-year deal with the option of another year, potentially keeping him in London until 2028.
Last season, Füllkrug scored 16 goals and registered ten assists in 46 appearances for BvB, before netting twice at Euro 2024 as Germany reached the quarter-final stage.
