has taken the current Chelsea The forward only played 44 games to score 20 goals, compared to Torres' 110 games.

Jackson's goal on Sunday was one of the simplest goals in his collection, after Cole Palmer played a brilliant pass to Pedro Neto from deep in his own half.

Neto then played perfectly with Jackson, before the striker finished the counterattack with a powerful shot past Nick Pope.

Jackson's effort marks his sixth goal of the season in all competitions, with the striker also picking up three assists along the way.

That adds to his tally of 17 goals in all games last season.

However, he has improved this season and scoring 20 Premier League goals in such a short time could reassure fans that they can trust him to lead Chelsea's front line.

While Torres never rediscovered his best form at Stamford Bridge, he established himself as one of the Premier League's all-time greats during his time at Liverpool.
