Chelsea visit a stadium in the first division where they have not won since 2013 on matchday 10. An away match at Old Trafford against manchester united awaits the Pensioners on Sunday, November 3, as they look to overcome the midweek blues following a 2-0 loss against Newcastle UnitedEdit in the Carabao Cup.

Enzo Maresca's side have a decent record in the English top flight this season, although they have suffered just two defeats so far. As their quest for a top-four spot continues, here's a look at Chelsea's possible starting XI against the Red Devils.

Goalkeeper – Robert Sánchez will replace Filip Jorgensen in goal. The former Brighton goalkeeper has conceded four goals in his last three league starts, so he will have to put on a better show if Chelsea are to prevail against United.

Defenders – Since the midweek defeat to Newcastle, Marc Cucurella is the only one expected to keep his place in the line-up among the defenders. The Spaniard will start as a right back, while James Reece He will return to the right side team.

Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana will retain their places in the middle having built a strong partnership together this season, replacing Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Midfielders – Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo will form Maresca's preferred double pivot. They have been shaky off the ball of late and will need to improve their play if they are to maintain their places in the team in the future, considering the good performances of the rest of Chelsea's midfielders.

Noni Madueke will play on the right flank against Man Utd as he has become indispensable in the position under the new Chelsea manager, while Cole Palmer is also assured of a start in the number 10.

Jadon Sancho cannot play against Manchester United because he is on loan at Chelsea, so Nicolas Jackson could move from the forward position to the left wing.

Forward – £52m upfront Christopher Nkunku has been in imperious form in the Conference League and has been knocking on Maresca's door for a start in the Premier League. He is likely to be given an opportunity against Manchester United.

With the team's wingers like Joao Félix and Pedro Neto not enjoying their best form, it could be Jackson who plays as a left winger with Nkunku up front.
