'No one more humble' – I played with N'Golo Kante at Leicester and he let me live with him for a month when I had problems
“No one is more humble than N'Golo Kante,” according to his friend and former teammate Cedric Kipre.
Kante has a reputation as one of football's good guys and that has been backed up by the former Foxes player.
The French midfielder arrived at Leicester in the summer of 2015 and made an immediate impression with his action-packed performances as he helped Claudio Ranieri's side to a shock Premier League title.
Just a teenager at the time, Kipre was at Leicester at the same time Kante joined a year earlier.
After a year on loan, Kipre was adapting to life at Leicester at the same time as Kante and explained how the midfielder stepped up to help him as he adjusted to life in England.
speaking to GoalKipre said: “I lived in N'Golo's house for a month when I was in Leicester.

“I had a problem with my apartment and he took my brother and me in.
“Not everyone would have done it, and it was very kind of them.
“Today I am proud to have met someone like him. “There is no one more humble than N'Golo.”
While Kipre now plays for West Brom, Kante's career began after that year at Leicester, where he spent seven years with Chelsea before joining Saudi side Al-Ittihad last summer.
Kante won a Premier League title, FA Cup, Champions League, Europa League and Club World Cup during his time with the Blues, while also winning the World Cup and UEFA Nations League during his stay in west London.
For Kipre, the 23-year-old remembers Leicester's title-winning campaign as a “crazy” experience.
“It was incredible,” he said. “Something crazy. The atmosphere was fantastic! Not even the players had seen it coming.”
“It was really beautiful. On the day of the title I was in the stadium behind the substitutes' bench.
“I was filming everything with my phone, I wanted to save memories.”
