It's no secret that Barcelona is in financial trouble, and they need to sell before they can buy this summer. Most of Hansi Flick's current team will have offered to listen to them, but one player who certainly does not fall into this category is Lamine Yamal.

The 16-year-old has been a sensation for the Catalans over the past 12 months – to the extent that he is not only a regular for them, but is also a nail-biting starter for Spain. He is also currently impressing at Euro 2024.

Earlier this year, Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed that a €200m bid for Lamine Yamal had been rejected. The club was not named, although it was discovered that it was Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions have the teenager as an ideal replacement for Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe, although signing him will not be easy.

Ace for MD, Barcelona believe that PSG can present an offer of 250 million euros in the coming weeks, although this will also be rejected. The position of the club is clear: it is not for sale under any circumstances.

It does not mean that PSG has no chance. Lamine Yamal has a release clause of 1 billion euros, so they could pay that at the initial negotiations with the player's camp. However, that shouldn't be a possibility, thankfully Barcelona.
