Germany national team coach Julian Nagelsmann has named his squad for the upcoming November international break which sees Germany compete in the Nations League.
Manchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega receives his first-ever call-up to the national team. The former Arminia Bielefeld keeper will act as the third choice behind Alexander Nübel and Oliver Baumann, replacing Janis Blaswich.
Dortmund duo Felix Nmecha and Julian Brandt both earn recalls to the national team. Nmecha has been absent from the squad for over a year and a half last being called up in March 2023, while Brandt last featured for Germany a year ago. However, unlike Nmecha, an argument could be made that Brandt doesn’t really deserve a call-up due to his form for Dortmund.
Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Robin Koch and Benjamin Henrichs all return to the squad after withdrawing from the October team due to injuries.
