Osasuna has had a quiet summer transfer window so far, but that could change. If everything goes well, they will complete the sale of club captain David Garcia, who will become the last player to make the move to the Middle East.
As reported by AS Diary, Osasuna has agreed a €10 million deal with Qatari team Al Rayyan. Personal terms were already finalized, and the 30-year-old has already traveled to Doha to undergo medical examinations.
Garcia has been to Hi throughout his career, but now he is about to embark on a new adventure. His departure is a blow for new manager Vicente Moreno, who does not need a replacement – luckily, 10 million euros should be more than enough to find a sufficient one.
Garcia will become the second Spanish international to move from La Liga to Qatar, following in the footsteps of Joselu Mato (who joined Al-Gharafa.
