Having battled relegation since the 2021/22 campaign, many fans and pundits feel this could be the year Everton are relegated to the Championship.
This is the same view as betting firm Paddy Power, which has already said it will pay out bets on Everton playing in the second division next season.

The pressure is already on Dyche, and things could get even worse for the Merseyside side if they are knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Doncaster on Tuesday night.
Speaking to reporters after the 4-0 defeat in north London, Dyche insisted his side cannot continue making mistakes.
His comments come after Heung-min Son robbed goalkeeper Jordan Pickford of the ball after a poor touch, leading to Spurs doubling their lead.
Dyche said: “We had two mistakes last week that cost us dearly, and one glaring one today that is really hard to accept.
“And in places like this, where we know they have firepower and several people who can score a goal, at 2-0 you're trying to get back into the game.
“But you know you could get hurt again, and you did.”
He continued: “Mistakes change games, it's that simple, goals change games.
“But if you give goals to players in the Premier League, it's a very difficult thing.
“And unfortunately in the first two games we have conceded three goals.”
