Merson praises West Ham striker Jarrod Bowen

He said: “Jarrod Bowen can play three or four positions in the front row. I like it, it's a coach's dream and he gives you everything, but he could miss the Euro Cup selection.

“He is unlucky, but Southgate has many options. He would have been sweating if Sterling had ripped him apart. This summer there will be some disappointed players.”

England have a wealth of attacking midfielders but there is a chance Bowen could miss out on a place in the final squad.
