Pep Guardiola is open to stay in Manchester City beyond the 2024/25 season.

The Catalan boss is gearing up for the new campaign after winning a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title last season.

Guardiola was asked about his future in the final weeks of the 2023/24 campaign and has confirmed a plan to stay in Manchester for at least another 12 months.

The subject was raised again during City's pre-season tour of the United States and Guardiola admitted he is open-minded to extending his stay at the club.

“When I'm leaving, I'll say I'm leaving, but I won't say it,” as quotes from Sky Sports.

“We'll see what happens. But I wouldn't rule it out absolutely to extend my contract. I'd like to stay.

“Nine years today in the same club is an eternity. So I want to be sure that it is the right decision. Not only for me, for the club, for the players.”
