Ruud van Nistelrooy would be “perfect” for the West Ham job, according to a talkSPORT expert.
The Dutchman is left without a job after leaving Manchester United this week after the arrival of Rubén Amorim.

However, talkSPORT co-host Rory Jennings believes there is a top-flight club that would be a perfect fit for the former striker.
He said: “I don't see a world where Ruud van Nistelrooy isn't considered for a place in the Premier League. You honestly can't believe he's going to get into the Championship.”
He continued: “I think West Ham are actually the perfect club. If you think about what West Ham fans need at the moment.
“If you think about the way they feel and I think about the way their owners have let them down.
“I think Ruud van Nistelrooy is a tonic. Ruud van Nistelrooy is exactly what they asked for.
“It is the type of appointment that West Ham fans not only demanded, but that West Ham fans deserved following their protests over David Moyes' departure from the club.”
West Ham parted ways with David Moyes in the summer, replacing him with Julen Lopetegui.
Jennings added: “They demanded a young, exciting, progressive manager, who was in keeping with the traditions of West Ham United. The West Ham style and all that.
“That's not Julen Lopetegui, that's Ruud van Nistelrooy. Young, exciting, dynamic.”
Lopetegui has won three of his 11 league games in charge, and the Hammers are currently 14th in the table.
Reiterating his point, Jennings concluded: “The club West Ham United want to be.
“The club they're trying to promote as, you know, the London stadium, the London club, the European success. That's perfect for Ruud van Nistelrooy.”
Van Nistelrooy's only previous experience as a senior manager came with PSV during the 2022/23 season.
He won the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup, as well as finishing second in the Eredivisie during his only campaign in charge.
