Pochettino finally reacts to reports linking Chelsea with 33-year-old former Liverpool star

Mauricio Pochettino has played down reports linking Chelsea with a move for Jordan Henderson.

Henderson moved to Saudi club Al-Ittifaq from Liverpool over the summer, but rumors are now surfacing that Chelsea want the 33-year-old.

Asked about Henderson after Chelsea's 4-0 FA Cup win against Preston, Pochettino said: “To be honest, we don't talk about names. At the moment we are not talking about bringing in players.

“I saw Behdad (Eghbali) here in the manager's room with Paul (Winstanley) and Laurence (Stewart). I think tomorrow we'll chat because we'll be at the training ground. We don't talk about names or we talk about position, we don't talk about bringing in players.

“For now we are focusing on players like Andrey Santos to see what we are going to do.”
