Bayern Munich host Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in today’s Topspiel with the Vincent Kompany looking to keep his 100 percent record as Bayern head coach.

Although Hiroki Ito has returned to has completed his first running session following a metatarsal injury, the Japanese defender is still some off making his debut for the club. That means a defensive duo of Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae. It’s quite possible that Kompany will opt for the same back four that started in last weekend’s win at Werder Bremen, with Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies retaining their places within the squad.

Aleksandar Pavlovic started last weekend’s game in Bremen, and the German international is expected to start alongside Joshua Kimmich in a double-pivot, while in-form Serge Gnabry should also retain his place in attack – the 29-year-old has scored two and created two in four Bundesliga games this season.

Michael Olise is also enjoying an excellent start to his Bayern career with three goals and two assists in four league games. The Frenchman will start ahead of Leroy Sané.
