Thomas Tuchel is without five key players for Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga clash against Heidenheim on Saturday afternoon.
Manuel Neuer, Noussair Mazraoui, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané are all sidelined, and are doubtful for Bayern’s Champions League game against Arsenal in midweek.
With a depleted squad, Serge Gnabry should make his first Bayern start of 2024 in place of Sané in the only change following their 2-0 Klassiker defeat against Borussia Dortmund last weekend.
Raphaël Guerreiro is available again but Alphonso Davies is expected to start ahead of the Portugal international, alongside Joshua Kimmich, Matthijs de Ligt and Eric Dier in defence, ahead of Sven Ulreich.
Bryan Zaragoza, who has earned minimal minutes despite the Rekordmeister opting to bring the Spaniard to the Allianz Arena six months early, remains an option on the bench alongside Mathys Tel and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Heidenheim
Sven Ulreich – Joshua Kimmich, Matthijs de Ligt, Eric Dier, Alphonso Davies – Konrad Laimer, Leon Goretzka – Serge Gnabry, Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala – Harry Kane. (Kicker)
