Liverpool defender Conor Bradley may have suffered ligament damage in Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace — but Jurgen Klopp admitted they will need to wait a few days to find out the diagnosis.
Bradley, 20, limped out of the match just minutes into the second half after injuring his foot, with Trent Alexander-Arnold replacing him for his first Premier League appearance since February 10.
“Conor overstretched his foot slightly,” Klopp explained after the game. “The first moment and what Conor felt didn’t look great, [but] now I heard a little bit that it’s settled quite quickly.
“I don’t know. Is the ligament damaged or not? I don’t know, so we will get this information tomorrow or Tuesday, but it was very painful for him so that’s not cool.”
Liverpool are next in action with their trip to Italy to face Atalanta in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, in which they trail 3-0 after Thursday’s defeat at Anfield.
