Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Seško’s release clause is more expensive than first reported.
Seško release clause was said to be worth around €50m. However, the clause was linked to playing bonuses including goals, assists and playing time which would increase the price. Currently, the clause is worth €65m and would even rise to €70-75m.
Premier League clubs and AC Milan have all shown interest in Seško but the Slovenian is said to be comfortable at RB Leipzig.
The 20-year-old joined Leipzig last summer and after a slow start to his time in the Bundesliga, he has begun to form a solid partnership with Loïs Openda up front as the pair have become Leipzig’s undisputed striking options.
Seško has 12 goals and two assists in the league this season, but what is more impressive is the fact that he has scored five games in a row, helping Leipzig to secure Champions League football once again.
