Real Betis are aiming to sign a new striker in the summer, amid the expected departures of Borja Iglesias and Willian Jose. Manuel Pellegrini wants a different profile to existing options Cedric Bakambu and Chimy Avila, and one of his options has now been revealed.
According to Brand, Betis has an interest in Juanmi Latasa. The 23-year-old Real Madrid man will return in the summer after a two-year loan spell at Getafe, where he scored seven goals in 57 games. Los Blancos have yet to decide what they will do with him, but the likelihood is that a departure – another loan or permanent – will be the option taken.
Latasa's goal return wasn't ideal at the Coliseum, though The Real Betis I wouldn't be too worried about it. They believe he can take it after two years of experience in La Liga. For now, it remains to be seen how Real Madrid Approaching negotiations, but considering that Latasa's contract ends in 2025, they will surely be more open to any terms offered.
