Real Betis have already completed five pieces of business this summer, having secured the signings of Romain Perraud, Marc Roca, Iker Losada, Diego Llorente and Adrian San Miguel. Manuel Pellegrini's side are getting stronger, although losing a key player like Ayoze Perez would mean that is not the case.

Ayoze had a fantastic second half of the 2023-24 season, and this form earned him a call-up to Spain's Euro 2024 squad. He will return to Betis in the coming weeks to begin preparations for the upcoming campaign , and when he does, it is expected that he will also finish negotiations for a new contract with Los Verdiblancos.

As reported by Relief, Ayoze and Betis are both keen to extend their relationship, which began on a permanent basis last summer. The idea is that the new agreement will last beyond 2027, and will also include an increase in his release clause, which currently stands at a price of 4 million euros.

Barcelona were linked with Ayoze earlier this summer as a low-cost alternative to Nico Williams, and the report claims he is still on their agenda. However, the 30-year-old has no plans to leave The Real Betisand soon, he hopes to commit his future to the club for a longer period of time.
