Considering how badly Almeria's season has gone, Sergio Arribas' nine goals and four assists in 22 starts was a remarkable achievement – even more so when you consider it was his first season in professional football.
Due to his exploits, Arribas has attracted significant interest ahead of the summer transfer window. Seville is one of the main candidates, however AS Diary say that the 22-year-old could stay with Almeria in Segunda. At this stage, nothing has been ruled out regarding his future.
Arribas is willing to continue with Almeria if a “big sporting project” is offered, which would likely include him being a regular starter – something he was not in 2023-24. This would be a blow to any team considering making a move for him in the summer.
Among those teams that would be disappointed are Real Madridwho have a 50% sale for Arribas, as part of the agreement with Almeria last summer. If it continues to the Power Horse Stadium, it would lack additional funds that are brought – not that they need the money.
