The iconic duo of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric they rarely hang out together these days, but both are highly valued by Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti, as has been seen in recent weeks. The Madridistas said to prepare for the departure of the two this summer though.
He had seen Kroos sign another one-year extension with the club, but second Chain SER, which is no longer a given. At the start of the season, it was assumed that he would continue, then it was a strong possibility, and now it seems that he is getting closer to leaving the club. Both are willing to sit down with the club and discuss the matter this week, but both are “closer to leaving than staying” as it stands.
Modric, for his part, looked set to leave for good, but recent cameos in the Champions League and a start in El Clasico have led some to believe he could change his mind about needing a starting role. Modric's departure is presumed, unless he also has a change of heart, and he will have a face-to-face conversation with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, one of his biggest fans.
Previous reports have noted that Real Madrid will try to secure the future of one of their leaders Dani Carvajal this summer. before “painful exits” that are on the way. At the beginning of the season, it was reported that Perez was not a fan of Kroos and Modric starting together, something that has not happened recently, and it only seems rational that if one continues, the chances for the other to doing so are reduced.
