Real Madrid do not expect to look for options on the market in mid-July, but if, as is likely, Leny Yoro signs for Manchester United, then that is exactly what they should do. Los Blancos are looking for some light in defense at the moment.
Yoro looks set to join Manchester United after they agreed a fee of 50 million euros with Lille that could rise to 62 million euros, and they are finalizing the details in personal terms. It is believed that he will earn significantly more than he had in Real Madrid as well.
However, it leaves Los Blancos with Eder Militao, David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger and Jesus Vallejo as options for central defenders. According to Alberto Pereiro of Onda Cero, Real Madrid is now back in the transfer market to look for a solution. They were convinced that Yoro would end up signing for them this summer, and as a result, agreed to sell Rafa Marin to Naples for 12 million euros. It was likely that he would have occupied a role in the team if he had not moved and Yoro did not arrive. Nacho Fernandez also left.
Madrid sold Rafa Marín thinking they would sign Yoro yes or no
Now…. small breakdownAt the market. CENTRAL WANTED @OndaCero_es

Vallejo is not part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans, and with Militao and Alaba coming off serious injuries (Alaba could be out in 2024), it's understandable that Real Madrid will want cover. That said, they could end up with Aurelien Tchouameni there, as Ancelotti made quite an impact last season, even if it's not the Frenchman's preferred position.
