Real Madrid given major boost – summer transfer target rejects €25m Premier League move in January

Real Madrid have many plates spinning in terms of their summer transfer business, but they were given a suspension in January. Girona, left side Miguel Gutierrez is an option to return to the club in the summer, but could be moved to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

Gutierrez has been one of the most exciting players in the League this season, and has a strong claim to be the best in the division in his position so far. So it has already attracted interest and as for BrandGutierrez rejected a €25 million move in the winter.

He has a release clause of 35 million euros, and Real Madrid have the option to buy him back for 8 million euros this summer, while until that point they only had the right to match the offer of another bidder . They also retain a 50% sell-on fee, meaning Real Madrid would only have to pay €12.5 million to do so, but delaying any move until the summer allows them much better control.

Considered as the next alternative if Los Blancos fail to get their hands on Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich, it is not excluded that they sign Gutierrez again to sell him again with a profit. While there is no mention of any team regarding the offer, previously Arsenal were the most linked with Gutierrez, but Manchester City has tooand if Real Madrid does not move in the summer, it will be subject to heavy interest.
