Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has called Kylian Mbappe after PSG's elimination – report

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez appears to be just under two months away from achieving his goal of more than a decade. At the age of 13, Kylian Mbappe went on trial at Valdebebas, and now at the age of 25, he looks set to sign for Real Madrid this summer.

After his third rejection from Los Blancos two years ago, Perez went on live television to declare that the player who made that decision was “not Mbappe”. However, relations seem to have been mended, and now Mbappe is just weeks away from signing with Real Madrid.

There will be no heavy narrative finale between the two in the Champions League after Paris Saint-Germain were eliminated without a score, and Central defense they claim that Perez called Mbappe after the disappointment. Perez reportedly told Mbappe that “I hope we can be at Wembley, it would have been a pleasure to play against you”, while offering his condolences for PSG's defeat.
