Ace for SportMbappe simply does not see himself as a number nine. He is currently less decisive than Vinicius, hence the reluctance to move the Brazilian to the middle, a position that he is theoretically less given. The 25-year-old believes that his usage is a key part of the reason for his underwhelming performances, and he is not happy playing in the middle.
This report comes on the back of previous leaks that the The atmosphere in the Real Madrid dressing room took a turn for the worse in the last few weeks. Compatriot and former striker of Real Madrid Karim Benzema recently told Mbappe that he would accept that role as a nine, but so far, he seems to be struggling with it.
