Real Madrid will make around €3.5 million for winning La Liga and the Champions League through their sponsorship agreement with Fly Emirates.
Fly Emirates is Madrid’s second biggest sponsor, behind kit manufacturers Adidas, and the logo is visible on the front of the club’s shirts.
Only a handful of sponsorships include bonuses. Fly Emirates’ payments depend on certain achievements, such as winning trophies.
According to highly-placed sources at the club, Madrid will receive around €2.5m for winning the Champions League and more than €3m for winning both La Liga and the Champions League.
These types of agreements help cover the increased variable expenditures from player bonuses awarded for winning titles.
Madrid secured their 36th La Liga title after losing just one game and tallying 95 points across the season. They then lifted their 15th Champions League trophy following their 2-0 win against German side Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
Fly Emirates, meanwhile, signed a deal with Real Madrid in 2011 and became their front-of-shirt sponsor two years later.
