Real Sociedade is already in the process of trying to spend the money they will soon receive for Robin Le Normand, who is expected to officially join Atletico Madrid in the very near future. A new winger is being pursued by sporting director Roberto Olabe, with Galatasaray's Kerem Akturkoglu being his primary target at this stage.
Akturkoglu, who is currently at Euro 2024 with Türkiye, is attracted by the possibility of plying his trade in La Liga, and has been reported by the media in Türkiye – as covered by Chain SER – that Galatasaray is open to hearing offers for the 26-year-old winger.
For now, La Real is the best place to sign Akturkoglu, but their latest proposal, which was worth around 13 million euros, was rejected by Galatasaray.
It remains to be seen whether Real society back with another offer for Akturkoglu. It is curious that they go for a left winger, since they already have the likes of Mikel Oyarzabal and Ander Barrenetxea.
