Real Sociedade are still on the lookout for a new striker, with manager Imanol Alguacil unhappy with the current options he has in the number nine. In the last few weeks, they pursued Orri Oskarsson from FC København, and a proposal of 20 million euros was received from the Danish side, which they announced rather surprisingly.

Oskarsson is highly regarded across Europe, and it was recently reported that Manchester City are considering him as a future target. Real want to get rid of him before that becomes a possibility, although they have been informed by Matteo Moretto that their latest offer is about to be rejected.
Copenhagen seem determined to say NO to Real Sociedad's 20 million bid for Orri Óskarsson.

It could be back to the table for Royal Society if he decides not to go higher for Oskarsson. There are only two days left of the summer transfer window, so the club's sporting department will have to move very quickly to make enough signings.
