Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has been targeted by a number of top clubs in recent years, and so far none have been attractive enough to tempt him away from Donostia-San Sebastian. Liverpool will be last by the looks of things.
On Wednesday, several outlets reported that Liverpool would open conversations with Real Sociedad and Zubimendi about a movement. The Reds have to activate his €60m release clause to have any hope of signing him, with three years left on his contract.
