Earlier this week, it was revealed that Real Madrid would not rule out a loan move for Arda Guler this summer. The 19-year-old was a sensation at the end of last season, and has carried that form into Euro 2024, having starred for Türkiye in their opening match against Georgia.
However Los Blancos would prefer to keep Guler in Spain, in case it is borrowed, ED they say that Liverpool would be very interested in taking the teenager, although it is not clear whether Arne Slot – their new manager – would aim for a temporary deal, or a permanent operation.
As it turns out, Guler is not the only Real Madrid player wanted by Liverpool. The same report highlights information from UOL which claims the Premier League giants have a genuine interest in Rodrygo Goes, who could push for a move away if he determines to lose his place in Carlo Ancelotti's line-up , on the back of the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe.
Liverpool's interest in Guler and Rodrygo may be real, but it would be a real surprise if Real Madrid allowed to go this summer – especially on permanent business. They may not be nailed starters next season, but they're still very popular, and that won't change overnight.
