Rodrigo Muñiz scored twice to inspire Fulham to their first goal first division victory of the year when Bournemouth were sidelined.
Muñiz was given the nod over Armando Broja's January loan move and scored either side of half-time after Bobby De Cordova-Reid had given Fulham an early lead. Marcos Senesi got it right Bournemouth to briefly make it 2-1.
Muñiz, who scored his first goal in the Premier League last week 2-2 draw with Burnley, looked brilliant from the start. The Brazilian beat three defenders, showing exceptional ball control, before being brought down on the edge of the area to fire a first warning shot over the Bournemouth goal.
Marco Silva's decision to start Muniz continued to pay off when he was heavily involved in Fulham's first goal in the fifth minute. The tenacious forward evaded his marker on the right before his cross, which looked routine for Lewis Cook to clear, caused the midfielder to slip, allowing De Cordova-Reid to finish from close range.
Tom Cairney recovered after taking a ball to the face and seemed unfazed as he made a graceful turn at midfield, unleashing Antonee Robinson, who was denied by a stunning Neto reaction at her left post.
Muñiz's electric start reached another level when he scored Fulham's second goal of the game nine minutes before half-time. Willian sent a cross to the far post for De Cordova-Reid to return to the danger zone. Muñiz reacted faster and shot into the roof of the net from six meters.
Bournemouth needed a quick response and they got it when Senesi pulled one back five minutes into the second half. Marcus Tavernier's corner was brought down by Dominic Solanke and Senesi showed fantastic composure to control the ball and score on a half volley.
But just two minutes later, Fulham regained their two-goal lead when Muniz scored the second. Willian's floating cross found Muñiz unmarked at the far post and his first shot flew past the defenseless Neto.
Broja came off the bench and looked to stamp his authority on the game, pushing Bournemouth back four and winning a corner with a dangerous pass into the box.
Andoni Iraola's team attempted to mount a late comeback, but Fulham were able to comfortably see out the match and leapfrog their opponents into 12th place.
