Ross Barkley is ready for another chance in the Premier League after agreeing a deal to join Aston Villa, talkSPORT understands.
Villa have agreed a £5million deal to sign the Luton midfielder and a move is expected to take place shortly.
Barkley joined Luton last summer on a two-year deal following their promotion to the Premier League in a bid to reignite his career.
After a steady start, Barkley made 37 appearances for the Hatters, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
Among them were the goals against. ArsenalNewcastle, Chelsea and Man City in performances that showed exactly what he is capable of in the top flight.
Despite impressing, Barkley's efforts were not enough to keep Luton in the Premier League as they prepare for life in the EFL.

Barkley has already played for Villa in his career, joining the club on loan while at Chelsea during the 2020/21 campaign.
