Exciting times ahead for United

Rubén Amorim is likely to make extensive use of the younger players he has named between now and the end of the season. Leny Yoro is finally fit and will benefit from the coach's three-man backline by getting regular minutes.

Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo is likely to be trusted with the midfield role alongside former Amorim star Manuel Ugarte. Mainoo achieved a double low pivot Erik ten Hag and his ability to carry the ball forward, combined with a brilliant work rate without it, will stand him in good stead under the new manager.

Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho could also see consistent playing time. Antonio and Mark Rashford They have underperformed for quite some time and United could use some new faces on the flanks if they are to move forward. Diallo and Garnacho have delivered whenever they have had the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Rasmus HojlundThe role of forward will be undisputed. Amorim's desire to count on the Dane could also mean that he does not prioritize the signing of Viktor Gyokeres so intentionally and nurtures another young striker.
