Saido Berahino offers insight into 'unacceptable' Daniel Levy deal that caused Tottenham transfer collapse
Saido Berahino has blamed Daniel Levy for the reason his move to Tottenham fell through in 2015.

It was reported at the time that Levy was willing to shell out only £6 million upfront for the striker, with the Baggies expecting around £30m.
As a result, Tottenham he backed out of the deal on deadline day, and Berahino was unable to regain his form after seeing his big move fail.
And now the centre-forward, who eventually joined Stoke in 2017, has revealed negotiations between the two teams during an open question and answer session on social media.

To which Berahino replied: “Right Spurs' payments were unacceptable and West Brom wanted £30m.”
“But Levy would pay £1.5m and the rest in installments.”
A Tottenham supporter then asked: “How close were you to joining Spurs?”
Which led Berahino to say simply: “90 percent.”
Following his failed trade, Berahino never managed to reach double figures in a single season again.
In 56 games at Stoke in all competitions, he found the defense just five times, and none in the top flight.
Spells at Belgian sides Zulte Waregem and Charleroi soon followed, before enjoying some success at Sheffield Wednesday.
He currently plays for Cypriot side AEL Limassol, but it appears he will be looking for a new club as his contract expires soon.
