Samu Omorodion will not return to Atletico Madrid after the collapse of the Chelsea deal
Despite Chelsea agreeing to Samu Omorodion collapsing at the last minute, Atletico Madrid are unlikely to hang on to the 20-year-old. Omorodion had flown to London to complete his medical, but at the last moment, the terms were changed, and the deal fell through.
Omorodion is believed to be as frustrated as Athleticbut barring a surprise, the couple will not continue together. Matteo Moretto he explained that not only are his agents looking for fresh options, staying at Atletico is not an option, as Los Rojiblancos had tried to sell him, and he thinks he should move elsewhere.

Reports have emerged that at least four sides have expressed an interest in Omorodion this summer, but finding a side that is willing to put up the €40 million for the 20-year-old that Chelsea were willing to pay could prove more difficult. Omorodion has shown huge potential, and has the raw attributes to be a nightmare for any defence, but he is also only entering his second season in professional football.
